TOMAHAWK STEAK  THE BRITISH GRILLER WAY

Big flavour, big bone, and a proper crust.

SHOPPING LIST

• 1 tomahawk steak 1–1.2kg,

You’ll need:

  • Olive oil, beef tallow, or peanut oil

  • Sea salt

  • Cracked black pepper

1. Season

with salt& pepper

2. Grill Setup:

•Set up for indirect cooking: So you can cook the steak slowly before searing to finish it off.

3. Cook indirectly first

Place the steak on the cooler side of the grill. Lid down. Cook until the internal temp reaches about 46–48°C (around 25–30 mins)

4. Rest

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 10–15 mins.

5. Sear it hot

Move the steak to the hot side of the grill. Sear for 1–2 mins per side, flipping frequently for a perfect crust.
